Hello,

My name is G McFarland, and I’m a care assistant to Gloria Miguel, a Kuna/ Rappahannock elder born in 1926 in Red Hook, Brooklyn. She is the co-founder of Spider Woman Theater, an Indigenous Women’s theater collective founded with her sisters in New York. Gloria has expressed interest in potentially marching in the parade this year in her wheelchair (I would be pushing her). Is there still space for individuals or a section of the parade dedicated to honoring community elders?
